Lending Risk Officer

The Role

We're seeking a dedicated Lending Risk Officer to join our growing team in a new position. This is a full-time role located at our office in Yarrawonga Victoria where you will work closely with the lending team to assess and monitor credit risk, support loan decision processes, and provide insightful analysis to strengthen our risk management framework.

Key responsibilities

· Assist with the assessment and ongoing monitoring of lending risk across the portfolio

· Support credit decision making through detailed analysis and reporting

· Prepare and maintain reports

· Collaborate with lending and finance teams to improve processes and controls

About You

We're looking for someone who:

· has a minimum 1-2 years of experience in lending or credit risk (desired)

· has completed or is nearing completion tertiary Studies in Business, Accounting or a related discipline (desired)

· is FSR Tier 2 Qualified (or willingness to undertake)

· has strong analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail

· is proficient with advanced Excel skills

· has the ability to interpret financial data and communicate insights clearly

· has strong communication and interpersonal skills

· is passionate about community and is eager to make a difference in people's lives
